Job Overview

Caden Care Homecare is seeking compassionated, dedicated qualified Direct Care Workers to provide support services and personalized care to individuals in need in 17 counties. Will you have to travel to 17 counties? Absolutely not, let us assign or find a case in your county that may fit the hours you have available. At, Caden Care Homecare we know that our client’s depend on us and that has to be a big priority to help maintain the client’s independence.

Responsibilities:

• Documentation
• Companionship
• Assisting Clients with ADLs such as: bathing, dressing, eating, toileting and incontinent care
• Assisting clients with transferring, when applicable. (Training is provided as needed)
• Medication Reminders
• Light Housekeeping
• Meal preparation (Training is provided as needed)
• Community Integration

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED is preferred.
• Experience: Typically requires 6 months of experience but do not let this disqualify you. It can’t hurt to apply.
• Autonomy: Because much of the work occurs in client’s personal space or in the community candidates must have integrity, be self-motivated and organized.
• Licensure: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are appreciated but not required as there may be clients who require no transportation or may be along a public transportation route.
