This Position as a community marketing liaison acts as a bridge between Olive Care Services and its target audience, primarily by building and maintaining referral networks, fostering community trust, and executing outreach strategies. While found in many sectors, this role is highly prominent in healthcare, where liaisons connect facilities with physicians, social workers, and local organizations to drive patient referrals. 

 

Core Responsibilities

Liaisons typically split their time between field outreach and internal strategy coordination.

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term partnerships with "referral sources" such as doctors’ offices, hospital discharge planners, Hospice agencies, Adult daycare centers, Senior Community Centers, Skilled nursing facilities, and community leaders.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the Olive Care Services at health fairs, town halls, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
  • Strategic Planning: In collaboration with business development teams, implement sales plans and marketing campaigns targeted at specific geographic territories. (Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Bucks)
  • Feedback & Insight: Gather community feedback and monitor competitor activity to help internal teams refine services and messaging.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Maintain CRM databases to track lead generation, referral metrics, and the effectiveness of outreach activities. 
  • Track networking efforts and review with Staff Coordinator regularly (Weekly)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Medicaid clients (PA HEALTH & WELLNESS), ACT 150, and OLT
  • Creating assessments and Plans of Care for all new clients.
  • Coordinating care and assisting Case Management with client schedule.
  • Solicit private-pay clients and private insurance. Long term insurance and Medicaid (PA Health & Wellness Clients.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Most employers require a Associate /bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a field specific to the industry (e.g., healthcare administration or social work).
  • Experience: Typically requires 2–3 years of experience in sales, public relations, or community organizing.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication skills are essential to persuade stakeholders and present to groups.
  • Autonomy: Because much of the work occurs in the field, candidates must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage their own schedules.
  • Licensure: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are almost always required due to frequent local travel
