This role is pivotal in managing various HR functions, ensuring that our workforce is effectively supported and aligned with the organization’s goals. Role Description

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings and interviewing to onboarding and orientation, ensuring every new hire aligns with our culture and values.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment that reflects our family-like culture.
  • Performance Management: Assist in performance reviews, support managers in implementing growth plans, and ensure consistency in evaluations across all locations.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to HR practices, including safety protocols, labor laws, and employee documentation. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits, assist team members with questions, and ensure timely processing of enrollments and claims.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions for team members on company policies, values, and best practices, ensuring everyone has the skills and resources they need to excel.
  • Payroll & Timekeeping: Assist in payroll processing and verify timekeeping records, ensuring accuracy and timely payments for all employees.
  • Anticipate, assess, and minimize litigation risks.
  • Assist Manager, Director and Coordinators with varied tasks and duties.

 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in Human Resources experience in homecare industry
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Familiarity with recruiting processes and tools, including screening, interview and onboarding process
  • Experience in conflict management techniques.
  • Knowledge of succession planning best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
