Direct Care Worker (DCW)

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Create and implement care plans based on individual needs
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
• Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals

Skills:

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
• Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of individuals
