Consulting Physician – Home Healthcare Licensure (Per Diem)

Job Title: Consulting Physician – Home Healthcare Licensure (Per Diem) 
Location: Pennsylvania (Remote with occasional consultation) 
Compensation: Initial retainer + hourly rate (based on experience and project commitment) 

Position Overview: 
JEVS Care at Home is seeking a Consulting Physician to support the licensure process for a new Home Healthcare agency in Pennsylvania. This per diem role involves approximately 2 hours of consultation per month over an 8–12 month period as we navigate the state application and review process. 

In addition to licensure support, the physician will provide valuable input on the selection of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system suitable for home healthcare operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide clinical consultation in support of the Pennsylvania home healthcare licensure application process. 

• Participate in strategic discussions related to care model development and regulatory compliance. 

• Advise on the selection and suitability of an Electronic Health Record system. 

• Be available for brief monthly consultation meetings (approximately 2 hours/month) over the project duration. 

Qualifications: 

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. 

• Experience in home healthcare is preferred, but all interested Physicians are encouraged to apply. 

• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and documentation best practices. 

• Ability to provide high-level consultation with minimal time commitment. 

Compensation Structure: 

• Initial retainer upon engagement. 

• Hourly consulting rate thereafter, based on experience and scope of involvement.
