Job Description:

As a Direct Care Worker at Caden Care, you will play a crucial role in assisting our patients with daily tasks, including meal preparation, medication reminder assistance, light housekeeping, escorting to doctor appointments, shopping, and running errands. You will work closely with individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, focusing on community integration.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminder assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with errands.
• Escort patients to doctor appointments and support community integration.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities.

What We Need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• PCA's, CNA's, HHA's, Direct Support Professionals, or Med Tech trained preferred but not required.
• Current criminal background, child abuse clearances, and FBI fingerprinting.
• Current physical and 2-step TB testing completed.
• Good work ethic and reliable transportation.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.
